Is Using a 401K Early Retirement Fund a Good Thing?

401k early retirement...many Americans are facing a real dilemma with this subject.

They are living longer than ever before, and they are also being put into situations where they are being asked to retire early.

Unfortunately, there isn't a an option available to them where you can safely tap into your 401(k) early.

Because the money that you invested in your retirement funs was tax deductable, there are severe penalties for withdrawing your money early.

If you tap into that money you will be greatly reducing the amount that is available later on.

The problem is, not only are you going to be withdrawing money to live on, you’re also going to be withdrawing additional money to pay the taxes and penalties. It won't take long for your fund to be depleted.

You need to find a better option than having a 401k early retirement. You’re going to need to find other ways to generate additional income so you do not have to make an early withdrawal. That is the only way you are going to have enough to live on later.

In addition, what happens if you are a victim to another corporation that depletes the 401(k) assets of its employees? You better have a quality back-up plan, such as some real estate investments, personal stock/option plays, or some residual income from an online opportunity.

For some people an additional stream of income means going out and finding a job. Unfortunately, jobs are not easy to come by, and what you get will probably only pay a fraction of what you need.

Then there is the issue of spending your retirement working. When you retired from your job you were probably looking forward to the chance to relax and spend time doing the things you enjoy. Instead, you are back at work, and not having the free time you wanted.

You may want to check out some of the earning opportunities that are online. There are ways to earn a nice income without being tied to your desk all day. If you are willing to put in the time to get things set up, you can earn a decent income working part time.

One of the keys to avoiding a 401k early retirement is to start early with a plan to earn additional income. Some of the online programs can start earning you money relatively quickly, but some can take quite a bit longer. You can't afford to wait until your main income dries up.

Don’t Rely Only on Your 401(k)

One thing you will want to remember is to ignore the hype and rely on your own intuition and some common sense. There are legitimate ways to make money, but there are also some programs that will not deliver any results. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Make sure that the program you get involved with has a sound business plan, and that there is a real product to sell. There are many information marketing programs, affiliate programs, and even multi-level marketing programs that can deliver what you want.

Before you get involved in a program, do your due diligence and research the program. If you read things that raise a red flag, you might want to steer clear. Make sure you’re comfortable with what you read, and that it is something you are really interested in.

Don't rely on a 401k early retirement program to last you through your golden years. Take steps to secure your future before you’re faced with a financial crisis.
