Financial Prosperity Requires Correct MindsetThere a few things you should know about financial prosperity. Achieving financial abundance and independence is something that eludes almost every single human being on planet Earth. Isn't that fascinating? Almost everyone hopes to achieve it, yet most fail. Figuring out why should be something you invest time in if you truly desire early retirement and freedom from the rat race. Let's take a quick look at what won't lead you to financial prosperity: The point here isn't to say that you can never have fun or purchase items that simply bring you pleasure. However, most people spend all their time, energy, and money on the above areas at the expense of more quality ways to handle their finances. Additionally, the way to early retirement and overall financial success is to develop the proper mental outlook. This outlook says that you'll buy the big ticket "fun" stuff with cash, avoiding interest payments. This outlook also provides you the patience to only buy these items after you've developed a long term plan to success. These items are purchased after the emergency fund, retirement funds, and debt are handled. The mass of humanity can't operate in this fashion. They fall victim to the mass of advertising messages that serve to separate you from your money at the expense of your future. Is it harder to be smarter? You bet, but it's well worth it, too! Therefore, you'd be well served to develop the right mindset and focus your energy in areas that the average person never does: Now, if you don't know what you're doing in some of the above activities, you'll probably lose money more often than you'll make it. Yes, you'll need to go through some training, some hard times, and you'll need to learn some real life lessons along the way. However, if you're unwilling to go through this process, it's very unlikely that'll ever achieve financial prosperity. If you can't develop the patience to avoid the usual financial pitfalls and you can't develop the skills to achieve in one or two of the above areas, you should probably just go back to work for a boss and try to retire the slow way at 70 years of age or so. That isn't meant to insult you. It's simply meant to point out reality to you. If you're the right type of person, you won't feel insulted. Instead, you'll feel challenged and excited and you'll be saying that you've got the right stuff inside. If that's the case and you're really serious about financial prosperity, then I suggest you get to work on some of the above "paths to wealth". Make a decision to fight and claw your way to the top. Creating financial prosperity takes the right mindset, a prosperity consciousness, and the patience to develop your skills until you begin to win at something, whether that is building websites, investing in real estate or stocks, buying existing businesses, etc. The point is you've got to do something different than the masses.
